Hi Friends, Nobody told me howz their HOLI? What masti you did and How did you clebrate it. Some of you might have remained inside of your house in fear of colours while some of you might have played a very colourful and wet Holi. To tell you the truth, I love playing holi but only when it is played in decency. In my locality people are so bad that they get drunk and create a scene every here and there. I remember playing holi with full charm during my teenage. At that time festivals had a special charm. A week before holi we all used to buy colours balloons (Now banned for good reason) and play with my buddies in my locality, but since I took admission in graduation the charm of holi went away. Since the last several years i have not played holi until I got married.. The other reason is also that I don"t have likeminded freinds, they all have shifted in other part of the city or moved to other cities for jobs.Now I hope to play holi with a bang next year as my son is growing up and he surely will like to play and clelebrate holi. This year he was on fever and we were upset.By the way How was your HOLI? Have any incident to narrate? please let me know on your blog post. I hope you all had a wonderful, happy, joyous holi. According to reports a windows virus called Mebroot is stealing online banking details. This malicious programme rest inside the computer and wait until the one of the 900 online financial institutions banking transactions are made. Users of internet who use online banking should remain cautious about it. This virus has been written by Russian virus writing group. Around 5000 machines have been found infected with this virus mostly in Europe between the period of 12 December to 7 January. This virus has the ability to hide deep inside the windows and very hard to detect. Windows browser which is not fully pached are vulnerable to get effected by this virus. It is better to use mozilla firefox which is much safe and fast to use which can be downloaded free of cost. You can download Firefox from the link at the bottom of my blog   " Love Lucknow "  I am using Firefox browser and found much better than Internet Explorer. My comuter crashed twice by trojons and virus win32.hitapop while i was using Internet Explorer.

Keep scaning your computer for viruses and always update your Antivirus programme.

Aaj kisi ki date hogi to kisi ki marriage anniversary, kisi ka bithday bhi hoga aur kisi ki shaadi bhi....koi exams ki tayaari kar raha hoga to koi interview dene ki. Kisi ko office report karna hai to kisi ko movie deekhne jaana hai.... saikdo kaam hai... dont worry.... relax..... keep your cool aur nikal jayiye apne apne kaamo par. Best of luck....... I read a post of one of my friend...anjali... saying its very boring to cook food.... it needs a lot of patience...she used to cook on heater, and finally enjoy the self cooked food. I would like to tell all my friends who cook food, (though i dont know much about cooking and don"t have much idea about quantity of salt and spices etc.)....about the use of Microwave oven. Microwave cooking  is quite easy for preparing quick breakfast, boiling, reheating... etc. Microwave has a part called megnetron which emit radio waves at the frequency of 2450 mhz which when comes in contact with salt, fat, sugar, generates heat and cook food. You can cook roast and bake and roast a variety of dishes and cuisines. It is also healthy to cook food in a microwave as less or no oil can be used means healthy for heart There are three types of microwave in the market in the range of  Rs.3000/- to 16000/- depending on the size and usage. Solo model for cooking and reheating, grill for cooking and top browning, and convection model for baking and all other purpose. So try one for yourself......i have tried cooking few items.... and cooking oneself makes the food more tastier....all ladies who cook food... One rich man step out from his car... one 12 years old beggar  rushed to him and begged for some money ..... the man thrashed him using abusive language and went inside a sweet shop, purchased sweets of 151/- Rs. and walked to a temple nearby.....he bows down infront of god asking for several favours....health, wealth and growth in business, etc, and offered god that if his business will succeed he will donate a golden bell in the temple............he drops Rs. 50/- in donation box and comes out. While crossing road a speedy 3 wheeler accidently hit him hard and ran away. His leg got fractured .....and he became unconsious........ the same begger boy saw this, rushed towards him and helped  to take him to the hospital, reaching hospital the man became consious and saw the boy holding him....... his eyes was now trying to recollect something.... and was lost in thoughts....what was he thinking?..............was he thinking why this dirty begger touched him?.......or was he thinking abut his bad behaviour towards the boy....... who helped him.... i don't know..... but I pray to god to give such type of people a kind and loving heart. These type of people try to bribe god for doing favours......ask for every wordly things but they never ever think about humanity, kind words, sympathy and love towards other fellow beings created by god.......God please lightened their heart.......this deepawali...........

Hi Friends, First of all i wish all ilanders a very happy navratri and dussera. I could not post any article since long becoz i was busy a bit... anyways i am back. Earliar whenever i sign in on iland page i used to get so much lost in reading my friends and other ilander's post that i use to forget posting one of my own. Very funny isn't it? But believe me its true.... because there are so many good articles and posts nicely written that i could not stop reading whole stuff...There are so many people from different background, location, religion, but all are united with one bond that is friendship. I think and truly believe that friendship is the real treasure which helps us in life in different times and different ways. And you can find a good friend easily by knowing their thoughts... and blogs are the place where you can read the soul of a person. I thank all who have accepted my friendship request and wish them all my best wishes in all spheres of life...Ok, take care....

The Short Message Service (SMS), often called text messaging is a means of sending short message to and from mobile phones. SMS was originally defined as part of the GSM series of standards in 1985 as a means of sending messages upto 160 characters, to and from GSM mobile handsets. Since then, support for the service has expanded to include alternative mobile standards such as ANSI CDMA networks and AMPS satellite and landline networks. Most SMS messages are mobile-to-mobile text messages though the standard supports other types of broadcast messaging as well.
The first commercial message was sent over the Vodafone GSM network in the United Kingdom on 3rd December 1992, from Neil Papworth of Airwide Solutions (using a personal computer) to Richard Jarvis of Vodafone (using an Orbitel 901 handset) The text message was "Merry Christmas"
The first SMS typed on a GSM phone is claimed to have been sent by Riku Pihkonen, an Engineer student at Nokia, in 1993.
SMS derives its benefit from two absolute advantages compared to any other form of communication. SMS is the fastest form of communication if measured by actual communication throughput including instances such as the counterpart not being able to take a call, being out of radio coverage, listening to voicemail, put on hold etc. SMS at its worst is a few seconds slower than a direct voice call or Blackberry wireless e-mail etc, but in the best case is faster by hours or even days than any other form of communication. SMS messages tend to be read within 30 minutes where an email message tends to be read in 48 hours.

But the present scenario is quite different as most of the operators network remains congested due to heavy traffic, mostly on festive season and you never know your SMS will be delivered and when. Sometimes charges for sending msg. is deducted but it is never delivered.
